How long is it safe to put my dogs on Frontline?

Is it safe to use Frontline top spot throughout the life of the animal every month to prevent ticks? They live in a warm climate with mild winters, but they are mostly indoor pets with access to a courtyard with shrubs, trees and grass around.

You can use a maximum of six months.
