How can I convince my dad to let me take a dog / puppy?

My father will not let me have a dog or a puppy or any kind of animal living who is walking outside of our planet one human (But that is just ridiculous to have a human animal ... JK) He says that dogs have spots Shead on the carpet and shit and many (but my mother said that if he does not shit, Haha its not alive.). I really want a puppy I found learned to play with and stick to Pet Supplies Plus, and I fell in love with it. It is the puppy as calm and sweat I've ever seen! But my father leaves me not get it. : '(* Cris *

the above condition is not true. I allways wanted any kind of pet for years and just this weekend, my mom said "guess what I went and bought, I got us a puppy Golden Retriever, which you can see in two weeks, but not be able to get until another two weeks "So, it allways says" it shit is too much, they're difficult to treat, it'll be bored on his own "and all that, but now I get a puppy, then continue try.
