Flea Lbs Green

My cats have fleas and I'm looking for a good way to handle them, and came across Program Green for cats 11-20 lbs. Anyone used it? Is it good and effective? The topical stuff doesn't seem to last the full month, so looking for something new.
Program won't kill fleas, it only keeps any eggs they lay from hatching. It works best when used before there is a problem (for every flea you see there are about 1000 more in the environment in various forms- eggs, larvae, pupae) or as part of several different things to help control and reduce a bad flea problem.
