breakfast:
1 egg, 1 slice lite wheat toast(35cals), 1/2 ounce lite cheese, 1 apple
1 tbs ketchup = 240 cals
snack:
100 cal meal replacement shake
Lunch:
2 slices lite wheat tst, 2 slices turkey meat, lettuce & 1 pickle, 1/2 oz.lite cheese, 1 apple , 1 cup cucumber&lite dressing
=295 cals
snack:
100 cal meal replacement shake
dinner:
6oz chicken breast, lemon juice, 1 cup broccoli, 1 tbs lite bbq sauce, 1 cup cucumbers&lite dressing
=240 cals
mid p.m snack/dessert:
sugar free jello pudding pack = 60 cals
plus I'm walking 4 miles a day, 6 days a week
drinking nothing but green tea & 64-80 oz of water
Im 23 yrs old female and very heavy in the upper 270's
I honestly think you need more calories than that in a day. If you're walking that much and are as heavy as you say, I'd strive for at least 1300-1600 calories a day. At least that many.
Try to add more whole grains, like brown rice, whole wheat pasta, quinoa, and add a variety of different colored fruits and veggies.
You're off to a good start though. 3 meals and 3 snacks is a great idea and it looks like your protein choices are good too. Just make sure you're not getting too much protein (not sure how much is in the shakes). Maybe substitute a shake for a glass of skim milk, a handful of almonds, and some grapes. Also, if you like seafood, fish is a great thing to eat. Mix some tuna fish with light mayo and eat it on crackers for a snack.
