My doctor gave me some sample packs at my 7 week appointment of PrimaCare One that contains omega 3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA) to support brain function. It was fine until I started having to buy the presription which is costing me $30 a month. Im just wondering if there is any other prenatal out there that is less expensive (OTC) that contains these omega 3's? Or is it possible to by a basic prental AND buy a supplement of these omega 3's? I really want my baby to have the best start but with paying for all these other copays, its getting to be a bit much. I'd love some advice on this issue. Thanks!
you can find a combo otc at any health food store. but it is simpler to get a basic prenatal and buy omega supplement, and I doubled on the folic acid. its recommended minimum of 400/day, but I took 1000 and still take 600. its also supposed to help against osteosporosis?
