How much otc ibuprofen can be taken in a single dose?

I know the bottle says 1 or 2 200mg pills but prescription strength ibuprofen is 600mg to 800mg. So if i had a bad headache could i take 3 or 4 advil pills? i know too much ibuprofen can cause stomach bleeding but every now and then if i took 600 or 800mg would this be safe? thanks for the help.
