Friday, June 24th, 2011My dog is near weight limit for flea preventative - which to buy?
I have 3 dogs - 2 at 12 pounds, one between 9-10 pounds. I am looking at K-9 Advantix. The weight limits are up to 10 pounds, then 11-20 pounds.
Can I use one of the 11-20 for her, or should I get the lower one for all 3?
Get the larger size.
I have 2 dachshunds at 8 pounds, that the small size, then 2 at about 14 lbs, one at 16 and one at 19 --- I use the 11-20 lbs. size for four of them.
If you want to save some money, you can do what my vet advised - buy the largest size Advantix and split it between your dogs. You need to get a syringe that measures, but it save a lot of money.
