Spot Tick Puppies
What do you use for flea and tick control on your dog/puppy? What do you suggest I use on my puppy?
I tried the flea collar(my mom's idea),didn't work. I asked the vet who told me anything that is spot on would be best since a puppy will be a puppy. She said spraying his body down with flea spray wouldn't be a good idea since he'll probably lick it off.
I looked at some spot on treatments but I'm not sure which would be the best company(meaning K-9 Advantix,Frontline,etc ) to use. What would you recommend and/or what do you use on your pet? Which do you suggest I stay away from because they don't work?

*puppy is a 5 month GSD*
I use Frontline Plus or Bio Spot. Frontline works better, but Bio Spot is almost as good and costs about 1/3 as much. All a flea collar does is get the fleas to move to another area. If you puppy is small, you can give it a bath in water with Dawn dish wishing liquid (no joke). The Dawn works for fleas, but isn't too good for ticks.
