Frontline Months Supply
i realy dont want to vaccinate more than absolutely nescessary. how many are left?
i only want to vaccinate against whats nescessary, not the things that are low risk or minor to take care of.
pup has had 3 5-way shots at breeder, and the vet wants to give her another DAPP, Lepto, Bordetella. im not getting bordetella as we wont be kenneling her ever, but will we be overdoing it on the DAPP? if not, how many should be left?should we request a titer test? im a very natural kind of person so im very paranoid on these things.
last Distemper shot left her very sleepy for 2 days and wouldnt eat or drink so i realy dont want to overdo it. plus the vet is already making us go back for wormer and Frontline after 1 month when he could have given us the 3 month supply??
also, she is going to have Heartgard wormer on friday how long before another worming?

I'm not vet, just a dog owner:
I would get a second opinion from another vet. I'd have that vet do a blood test to see what's in the dog already. Only need to vaccinate every 3 years. I've heard too many stories about what vets will do to get animals through their doors.
You can buy all the Heartgard and Frontline products at pet stores in up to 1 year lots. As long as the dog as been tested for worms, you can keep them on the meds w/o retesting.
Our animals don't deserve this just so the vet can make more money off of us.
