Frontline Dogs Dose
What are the exact dosages for frontline plus dogs for cats?
I have used frontline dogs for my 4 cats for over 4 years already. I usually purchase it on ebay and then use a syringe to dole it out in the correct proportions. I was told .5 cc's per cat by multiple sources. I lost one of my flyers though with the name of a reputable animal rescue location that has a website that explains dosages per cat and dog. Does anyone know the website or the website somewhere else that has the details on how much per animal? When you have multiple animals, it is far tooo expensive to purchase frontline plus for cats , frontline plus for dogs for each animal every 30 days. the dog averages $50 for enough cat medicine for 48 doses and the cat dose would be $480 so it is significantly lower. And, those people, telling you your animals will die probably say it because they are making money off of it. I know of tons of people who do it , as i do. You need to check the dosages though so i am looking for the site to just reverify the correct doses.
I am not sure why anyone would recommend putting Dog flea control on a cat. The chemicals that are used in Dog flea control are different from cat flea control, and is very toxic to cats!
Maybe you should look into other alternatives. Such as DE (Diatomaceous Earth). You can dust anything in or outside your house with it, including the animals, and is safe enough to ingest (good for deworming). Also, regular vacuuming will help keep them at bay.
