Hardwood or Softwood Pellets?
I was wondering if there was a difference between the two? I have a friend who uses wood pellets for her cats litter. Is there a safe wood pellet for small puppies? (besides dog litter, etc.)
I'm not looking for "BRING THE PUPPY OUTSIDE" answers. I'm just asking if there's a safe one for puppies/dogs?
(exp. If dog went in cats litter box that uses wood pellets? OR If someone would to litter train a puppy to pellets..)

I think they are fine - as long as you don't use "regular" cat litter. Obviously if the puppy EATS the wood pellets though, there might be a problem.
There's also a product called "Yesterday's News" that is made out of recycled newspaper, and that is 100% safe.
